When should I check in for my travel on Delta Airlines?
The following check-in deadlines must be strictly followed in order to comply with Delta Airlines check-in policies:
Time for international flight check-in. If you're checking in from a foreign airport, Delta advises that you arrive at the airport at least four hours prior to your flight and check in at least 60 minutes beforehand.
If you are checking in from a U.S. airport, arrive at least two hours before departure and check in no later than 60 minutes before to departure (for most flights).
You should arrive at the airport at least two hours before to takeoff for domestic flights within the United States and check in at the designated time. Do check in advance because the minimum check-in time at American airports varies by airport and is never less than 30 minutes before departure—and earlier at some airports.
Time for Delta Shuttle service check-in. Depending on the city of departure, the check-in time ranges from 15 to 30 minutes prior to departure, but do check ahead of time.
